He had formerly played for R.F.C. de Liège, JS Pierreuse, Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen.
He signed with Levski on 2 July 2008 after a few weeks on trial. Rachid made his unofficial debut for Levski on 5 July 2008 in a friendly match against Spartak Pleven. Levski won the match and the result was 5:0. He scored his first goal for Levski on 9 July 2008 in a match against PFC Kaliakra Kavarna.
Rachid made his official debut for Levski on 13 August 2008 in a match against FC BATE Borisov; Levski lost the match 0–1.
He became a Champion of Bulgaria in 2009, after a contradictory but great season under the coaching of Emil Velev. Despite the bad results during the autumn part of the season, after great matches in the spring, Levski Sofia fulfilled the plan before the term had set and became a champion for the 26th time, before the last round had been played.
Rachid was sent off on loan in Dubai Club as of August 2009. As of 15 June 2010 he capped 30 times and scored 24 goals.
Tiberkanine participated in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship.
